For $220 you can enjoy a simulation of a GFE with a Korean or Chinese provider with bad bolt-ons. One issue many mongers have about agencies pertains to the screening process. You mentioned it was fast and easygoing with ButterflyLegend. Can you please elaborate?

Their online form asks for name & ethnicity, email, phone, credentials from the oThER and 411 sites, and 3 provider references. Were you required to provide every single item or were some of them optional? And, if some were optional, which ones?

For the items that might personally identify you (name, phone, email), were you required to provide actual info or were you able to use info you've established for hobby use (burner phone number, hobby name and email address)?

Finally, what steps does the agency take to verify each of the information items?

My biggest concern has always been that identifying info stays in agency records permanently. So, even if an agency can be trusted not to misuse it, there's still the risk that it could fall into the hands of LEO or some hacker in the future. Any info or insights into this particular agency would be greatly appreciated. TIA and thanks also for the review.

There's no shortage of talent in both the indie and agency scenes. Per my earlier post, it's all about privacy. I can find plenty of talented indie providers who don't require my real name, phone, email, etc. If there are agencies who operate similarly, then sign me up. But if the screening process insists on actual personally identifying info, then no thanks.

And it's not good enough if they "promise" to keep the info safe and secure because, if LEO comes calling, that's a promise they won't be able to keep. And I'm sure Ashley Madison made that promise to their members but they still couldn't keep their client info from leaking. As the saying goes, "sh*t happens when you least expect it" and sometimes it happens years into the future.
