Well as an update this is the Heather I spoke about earlier. BBFS was not her norm in a prior run. Back on topic, CL is a mess. I got spun up into one of those "dating" sites by a replying to a CL CE ad. "She" wanted me to do a background check, and so I paid the dollar (one dollar, not $) in my attempt.

Now I'm getting charged $50 every other day for "gold" membership to this bullshit dating site.

I was thinking with the little head and got suckered into a scam. I've locked my card and contacted this bullshit "ctrmenu dot com" site to knock it off.

My advice for those that don't know. If you reach out to a CL ad and she wants you to do a background check, it's a probably a scam. Never give out your identity or CC details to these "dating" sites.

I've had luck with "Seeking Arrangements" though, so there are legit services out there. Just be careful.

Been trying my hand at finding a decent CL backpage is such a mess and I'll tell ya it's not easy. Ran a few ads and been emailing back and forth with what seems to be a real one in woburn Facebook confirmed. Started with her wanting $500 cause she needed it for Christmas blah blah we could meet weekly all that then I told her it was much more then I was looking to give and she countered at $300. Then got bitchy with me when I pushed for less. Is that what we should be willing to pay? For something really nice and reviewed well I could see it but not for an unknown.
