If I plan to pickup a SW today, I will try to leave as much as possible at home. If I plan to pickup a SW on the way, I will place valuables (including cell phones) hidden, inside the trunk, locked compartment, etc.
Rule 2 The Vehicle.
You should try to avoid using expensive vehicles. When I lost my car to LEO it was a very old vehicle I owned at the time. So it was not a major loss for me or a major gain for them. I was able to buy it back at a reduce cost plus storage fees. My favorite vehicle is the F150 crew cab. Lots of space in the second row. Plus you can put a very dark tint in the 2nd row windows for increased privacy.
Rule 3 The Approach.
When you spot a SW be careful how you approach her. You need to be legally stopped or better yet leagally parked somewhere close to where she will be walking towards you. You can signal her but don't overdo it. If she approaches you on the drivers side and wants to discuss pricing just say no thanks and leave. She maybe a LEO and that's how they got me. Never ever discuss anything outside the car. If she approaches you to find out if you are interested only that is OK and she should hop in if you say yes. Anything else just drive off. I never seen or heard a LEO hop into a car and I don't think they ever will. LEOs do not want to take that risk. So if she immediately hopes in and you drive off, the discussion, LEO check should occur on the drive to the parking spot.

When I approach a SW and park my car, I check and see how interested they are. If they see you and keep walking she either isn't a SW, playing hard to get or a LEO. It does not matter how good looking she is if she is not that interested or is a LEO, you are not going to have a good time. So continue your search. If I really need to have some fun, I will have a backup plan which includes going to an AMP.

It would be better to park in a busy area far from where you picked her up. On the drive there you need to check if someone is following. I remember one time I was so busy checking out the girl that I failed to pay attention that someone was following me. This person must have some mental issues. He started screaming at me, that he is law enforcement and placed a sticker indicating so on my truck. As I drove off he followed me. So I hit the toll roads to get him away from me which worked. Always look behind you even if you have an awesome spinner.

I think these are very sound ideas to follow. Great job! I do a few additional things.
I'll keep any donations separate from my wallet. The amount will be either exactly as discussed or enough to include a tip. I've had some nag if they see more money in the wallet. I also am reluctant to pick up those with big backpacks or have many male friends around them. Just don't want to deal with potential of something else happening. I will also choose parking locations that do not have cameras. If in a new area, I will survey the locations first.
During the pull up, I'll usually ask how are you doing, or something along those lines. If I am interested, I will ask if she needs a ride. If I get a bad vibe or not interested, I will just tell them thank you and that I thought they were someone else. I do not discuss any details about any action through in a window. Even if she starts first.
Once in the car I and I see we are not being followed I will discuss details. But only after LEO check. I ignore any requests about what I am interested in before that.
