I was able to try out the China Tuina on E Colonial past the 408 endpoint (if you're driving east, it's on the left in a small plaza). I figured I'd try it out again since I was turned away about a week ago. I have read reports of other mongers leaving happy. This time, it was a weekday afternoon so it was pretty empty. The IRS LOVES their armed agents. It's very possible that this was a tax-related raid. Bringing local SWAT along with their own, just adds to their power.

This is pure speculation. But CB had an incredible flow of talent which rotated regularly. There had to be a supply for the talent CB imported. My speculation is the investigation is looking into the source of the supply. I speculate Kim is under a lot of pressure to cut a deal and testify. I further speculate since the talent flowed across state lines that not only are other jurisdictions involved but perhaps a federal agency too. I admit this is pure speculation but the lack of publicity and details about the arrests suggests to me that something broader than Bumby Ave and Colonial Drive is at play here.

Again I have no facts to specifically support this speculation in addition to what has been reported.

I wouldn't expect to see ANY LE statements or comments about an "ongoing investigation! By the time they wrap up whatever they are investigating (could be months, or more), the actual closure of the two establishments affected will be so old as to NOT be newsworthy any longer (at least not for the ratings-craving newsie organizations).

The police action is based on probable cause. The search is for a specific crime and if other violations like drug, large quantities of money, housing, wheel chair access on the exterior and interior, etc can lead to other actions. Sometimes the search finds nothing! In Pennsylvania the only way to shut down one famous house was enforcing the wheel chair access requirements.

If you are the owner and the police came knocking would you think twice about reopening at that location?
