I always ask up front. Their response determines if I push the subject. I always ask if we can just skip the cover to start, most will say yes. Once you get to that point in the session, if she's even remotely attracted to you, just say "let's keep going like this" or something to that affect, after she gives you head, or ask her to slide back and forth on it (nuru style), chances are VERY high that she'll let you slip it right in.

Another technique is making sure you're giving some foreplay back while she's giving head. Rub in the inside of her thighs, play with her clit, rub her nipples or back, talk dirty to her. Having tried many different approaches, the highest percentage of success for me has now become the only one I use. I wait until we're actually face to face, and I ask if she kisses. Her answer is fairly irrelevant to me, but my follow-up after she answers (which seems to come almost as an after thought) is, "Oh. Um, I should mention that I can't do any latex. I'm allergic to latex, and I get a bad reaction. " Her response will dictate my next move.

If she says, "Okay", then that's it and we're going in raw.

If she says, "You mean bareback?" with surprise and / or disapproval I say "Well. Yeah, I guess. " and just wait for her response. Which will determine my next move. "Um. Okay. " means we're going raw. "I don't do that. " means I will probably be leaving at that point.

I ask straight up is she will offer bare. On the phone before I head out. If it's on the menu I want to know if that's my taste for the day. No sense in wasting time. If I'm not in mood I will wait and see.
