I agree. I've had quite a few successful arrangements and none of them started with a paid meet and greet either. The pay for a meet and greet is a scam. Oh my time is precious. So mine time isn't? I want proof you have the means to be support a sb. I don't have to prove anything. Turn this around. I need you to put out to prove to me you are serious. How many of them would go for that? I always keep the first meet and greet to something simple like meeting for coffee. If you plan anything extravagant, you'll end up getting stood up and sitting at a fancy restaurant like an idiot. Never pay upfront, and never pay online. Even had one gal ask me to send her food to prove I was "legit". Just because these ladies aren't "pros" doesn't mean they don't run scams.

I've had a number of successful arrangements. I've never paid a penny for a meet and greet, and would not consider an arrangement with anyone who insisted on it. While I'm willing to be rejected, I'm not willing to pay to be rejected.
