I've hosted a few over the years and have learned you have to invite at least four times as many guys as you actually want there. I invited 40 to one and only about 12 showed up. Overinvite, then just do it like the girls do, where you don't give the room number out until a guy gets to the parking lot. Once you have enough in the room, stop giving out the room number and tough shit for anyone who was late.
