So lately Backpage on my phone has been weird. The short by date option comes and goes and it was taking me to the "Top" options by default. Also, a lot of ads now have links to Facebook or Instagram or Snapchat all of a sudden. Anyone else see that too? What's going on.

I would assume that 99.9% of these new links are fake. I further assume that filling one of them out is required* field for the girls when submitting an ad (under the guise of making it all look more legit from BP's POV I suppose?) and most of the girls are just typing in jibberish. Some of the ladies like Montero may use it to put her official twitter, but again I am going to proceed as if 99.9% of those links are fake. Most of them are dead as a doornail, ie. Made up url's.

I noticed the same thing with regard to the facebook / twitter / Instagram addition. I assume it is one more thing BP requires to place an ad. I have noticed two things. 1. A lot of the pages are phony. 2. The same person used the same page (a twitter) to place a few different ads for a few different girls.

As I mentioned, I'm Ukrainian and I've had my share of women find me attractive in my life including attractive women of different ethnicities including black and Spanish women. You can't stereotype EVERY guy in a nationality as being ugly because there are attractive people and unattractive people in every ethnicity. Ukrainian guys seem to get a bad rap for whatever reason and I don't think it's fair at all because there are a lot of good Ukrainian guys out there like myself who know how to treat a woman as good as, if not better than other men.

If you look, at the top of the listings there used to be 4 options for viewing the listings, the last one being "date," which I believe were the free postings vs "top" which were the paid ones. There were always more ads visible when viewing by "date".

"date" is now no longer an option, now just "Top/Gallery/Video" are available.

If I'm wrong on this, someone please correct me!
