IMO a good report should answer at least 2 questions: 1. Where and 2 What. "who" and "how much" are also desirable, but 1 and 2 are critical, otherwise the report is USELESS.

I couldn't agree with you more. Why bother taking the time to write a report and not give the most crucial info. The only reason I could think of is to keep your number of posts up there to give senior level some credibility.
