I thought I'd pass along some tips on the hobby based on different things I've read (some from this very site) or gleaned from other sources. I don't claim to be the expert on all of this, and I'm sure there are others here that I could learn a thing or two from (and already have, actually). I just thought I'd share things that have helped me.

Most of my mongering has been at SCs, and I figure some quick tips on negotiating would be worthwhile.

1. Do your research. Find out the typical prices for the services you're looking for at the clubs you're interested in. This should be done before you even enter a club.

2. Know the maximum amount you're willing to spend for a particular service. You should have a figure in mind before you even talk to a dancer.

3. Your opening offer should be below the maximum amount you're willing to spend. Ideally, she'll agree to your offer, but if not, you've got some room to raise your bid to satisfy her without exceeding your maximum amount. For example, let's say you're willing to spend 150 for a particular service. She opens with 200. You counter with 100. If she takes it, great. If she counters with 150, then both parties will still be happy.

4. Be willing to walk away from the deal. There are always other dancers and other clubs. If you can't agree on a price you're willing to pay, then (respectfully) tell the dancer "thanks, but no thanks".

5. Learn from each negotiation. On the drive home, replay each negotiation in your head. What can be learned from it? Could you have saved some money with a lower opening offer? Should you have stuck to your guns on a particular price? Could you have gotten more out of the deal in some way?

But the negatives are mounting up: mandatory VIP, smoking allowed. Most troubling, there seems to be a concerted effort to jack up the prices of any extra curricular activities during a private dance. This might work for neophytes who do not know to negotiate prices and, failing to arrive at a mutually agreeable arrangement, to relocate to another more reasonably priced club (Criket has been a good option over recent months). Hopefully the readers of this forum will be sufficiently informed to negotiate fair prices for any extra services at the LS, or leave for a different club.

Good catch. My comment should have said mandatory valet at Landing Strip. Most of the time, there is no extra charge for the VIP (I often tip $5) unless you request to use the larger VIP room, in which case there is a $20 charge.

I just can't see spending 50 - 75 - 100 on clean dances, I just don't have that kind of money to blow. I do like me some nude dances though, I usually ask for a few warm up dances before the fun begins.

I have never negotiated for a nude dance. I am going to try it next time. I always negotiate for full contact though.

And it is not that I never go for FS. But on rare occasions, and at places like Bogies and H8 N. Don't want to fork more than $ - $. 5 for a quickie.
