Long time lurker, finally made an account to agree with this.

Whether you're looking for BBFS or want to avoid the risks associated with it, more information can only benefit the dreamers here no matter your opinion on BBFS.

That being said, I have a feeling such a thread would be difficult to moderate around here.

No there isn't a way to limit who sees it and moderating isn't hard. Whoever starts it can delete posts from the ladies sewing circle who will inevitably come out to protest the thread.

If they continue I put them on moderation. It's pretty simple.
