I don't think they've changed per se, as far as legal threshold for establishing a solicitation charge goes. Just that they don't care anymore. The GAME has changed, the rules haven't.

Girl I spoke to, tried to tell the judge about it. Judge didn't care.

They used to have a state statute years ago, "loitering for the purpose of prostitution". It was found to be unconstitutional and struck down. Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood brought it back a few years ago, as a municipal ordinance. Lower burden of proof as it is civil / municipal, not criminal (technically).

Either way, LEO's are playing a little harder out there than usual.

Grabbed Amber and some other girl I'm not acquainted with yesterday from the east side. Amanda from the west (though she had paper on her, so it was only a matter of time).

I heard from a couple of girls they're not even bothering with the niceties of doing a "recorded solicitation" (naming price for act). They're just snatching them as soon as they get in the car.

Heard from another one that a few weeks ago, she did a LEO Check, he touched her tit, she touched his junk. And got nailed anyways. She thought that was "against the rules".

Looks like they AREN'T PLAYING BY THE RULES.

3rd one goes down as a felony, so they're probably trying to rack up the multiple arrests so they can get them a longer vacation than the 2 or 3 days they normally get.

Most of the girls are going to plead guilty or no contest, just to get out and back to the dope.
