I went back today to finally get my start on the trail action. It was nothing like Friday afternoon, but I did get a few pickups. Lower your standards? J / k. Keep looking. Sometimes you just might be on an unlucky trajectory, which at that particular time most of the girls out at that time, might be busy with other mongers, or maybe you drove by 20 of them but a bush, truck, bus,or gas pump obscured your view. In my limited experience it would be impossible to not find ANYTHING. The thing is finding one that meets your standards within your time constraints.
