So I've read a few reports about a place off Flanders. Where exactly is the place?

Don't waste your time!

This place is on Canon Street just west of Rosecrans, next to a pizza place. They wanted $60 for an hour, $30 for a half-hour. I thought that was ridiculous. I chose a half-hour. The masseuse was unattractive and didn't speak any English. A couple of times she had to get someone to translate. Her massage skills were mediocre. There was plenty of teasing and attempts to up-sell me to an hour. "More hour" was one of the few things she could say in English. I refused. There was no flip or HE. The entire time was spent on my stomach. Do I need to state the obvious -- Will not repeat.

Does anyone know any spots that offer Thai?

I've got a serious thing for them and so far the only thing I've seen on the menu around here are Korean and Chinese.

I haven't been here for two years but I always had a great massage, good stretching with younger girls.

Always had a very happy experience.

One of the girls told me she's Thai (actually born in Thailand) but raised in China and she doesn't speak a word of thai language.

Like I said good massage and good service when I went there.

$60 an hour and $40 tip.

I went to Islands over year and a half ago and it was a high door fee and full-service.

Your mileage may vary, I got full service but it was such a long time ago I don't know what the girls are like now.

So give it a shot and report back.

Thai massages are great, they include a lot of stretching in areas a guy of my age doesn't usually stretch. But I've struck out in the two Thai shops I've tried. I live in Escondido and stopped frequenting the AMPs there due to their high prices and the fact they were busted a few years ago and are now a little too cautious.

There really is two types of Thai massage. One is traditional Thai which is stretching and bending. Usually with clothes on. The other and more common in the states is oil massage " oi" massage with lots of stretching.

My experience in California is that most Thai places are legit but as always YMMV.

The place on valley parkway in Escondido (Thai therapeutic) was on my no go list for a while because it was a good massage ($60/ hr) but no HE.

Although it's been about a year since my last visit I received both HE and BJ on separate visits.

The last time the provider was June kind of a thick girl kind of plain looks but very sweet and attentive.

Massage was very good but the upsell was annoying. A $200 FS tip was quoted and we settled on $80 BJ but she grumbling a lot about what a "cheap Charles " I was.

In Thailand this is insulting. It means you are really cheap. So bar girls that hear that are far less interested in you if the think you are going to tip cheap.

But overall service was good and attitude was fine but looks and cost of the upsell just doesn't really make me want to go back.

The soapy massages are about $60 (2000 baht) for everything.

Best place for Thai is to get on a plane and fly here at least once in your life.

I will add I was in Vietnam in 1969-70 and the average massage there was about 200 Piasters which was about $2. A HE was about $2 more. That's what triggered my long term love of AMPs.

Those whom have been there know its pretty good!

Saw two other places that seem to be related (same CL add phone numbers).

One off ronson (mention here I believe) and also one on rosecrans now.

Rosecrans and ronson girls were significantly chubbyin comparison with flanders, with Rosecrans totally booping my face with what I though was a pregnant belly.

Now a thing about the chubby ones, they seemed downright thirsty too!

One girl literally straddled my wrist while 'massaged' my shoulder, you bet-cha she wasn't wearing any panties under that skirt.

Did an hour at both, all that I saw I wasn't terribly excited to see again sticking to the flanders spot probably for now.
