Five years ago, I never personally ran across any lady offering BBFS, even if you were a regular for an extended period of time. It seems that within the past 2 years, it has gotten more and more frequent, to the point I am no longer surprised by the offer. However, I am not so naive that I didn't know it was out there, five years ago.
