Intrusive as a maybe that's all part of social networking hehe. Now imagine all the companies that data mine your info to sell what they have on you, nothing is free on the net. I tell friends whatever you have ever post or texted can be stored somewhere, it's called "digital permanence." Here's a free site where you can look up people as long as you have there 1st and last name familytreenow.com. Realize that most people are walking around with a portable tracker, microphone, at least 2 HD cameras that can be accessed at anytime by anyone who has the technical know-how, it's called a smartphone LOL. If you don't want anyone to track you during a certain time pull out the battery of your phone and wrap it in a bunch of aluminum foil LOL.

IF and I say IF you have a FB account and you use your phone number on it, all someone has to do is in the search on FB is enter your number and up pops your profile. This also works in reverse if you want to check a provider just enter her phone number and see if a profile pops up. For those of us that have SO's I for one have deleted any phone number associated with my FB account and suggest you do the same. Please feel free to spread the word across the rest of the forums.
