She seems to know the human psychology in setting of prices which is widely exploited. The LinkedIn thing is laughable of course, but that is there to set an impossible high bar, so you look at other options favorably. Like the $100 meeting over coffee. For a $400 hour hooker, $100 intro sounds good. This is an age old pricing technique. If you have one product and one price for it, you will have to come up with three variations on it with three different prices, one high and one low and most people will pick the middle which is what you wanted. People look at the low one as bottom of the barrel which they do not want, look at the high one and think they are getting a bargain with the middle one. One hell of a happy customer. You will see this repeated thousands of times in different commercial transactions. Here people may just consider paying her $100 to screen them as an easy way out.
