We have all had days like those, calling multiple providers to hear nothing back period or then a couple contact you all at the same time, the longer your in the hobby you'll find they double book as well, because of past cancellations but usually its because they don't have good calendar skills and forget they have another client coming in at the same time. So when you are at the hotel and calling them and they go radio silent it could be your the second one to arrive.

In my experience, this nonsense is unfortunately common. I line up lots of options by contacting anywhere from a half dozen to 20 or so girls. Over half of them typically never respond. Of those that do, very few respond in a timely fashion.

I have to say, I'm somewhat relieved to learn that you seasoned veterans get stood up and / or ignored that frequently. As a relative novice to the hobby, I was starting to wonder if I was doing something wrong, inadvertently violating some secret protocol, etc. But it sounds like my failure rate is consistent with what others experience. My time window is always limited, and I can't and won't tolerate the b. S. No matter how hot or skilled the provider.
