Same here. The change in strategy to now go after the guys as hard as they go after the girls, at least in DeKalb, is worrying. Not one single underage girl busted either, at least from what they stated. I have no problem with them targeting the monsters preying on kids. It just would be nice for them to actually catch them and publicize that!

Probably the best thing to do in going to a meet is to use a burner phone, and then just leave it behind when you go there (since your car could be searched, just leaving it in the car might not be good enough). Keep your cash in your wallet (not a wad of $120 in your breast pocket, so obvious); this means not seeing these girls who do the "call me when you get here, and there, and there" games.

A slightly riskier thing would be to swap out the SIM card when you arrive, stashing the "monger" SIM card somewhere it will not be found (and actually you can get SIM cards in bulk for $2 a pop; you could just use a fresh one each time LOL).

But security is always a ***** (anyone who has ever worked in a high security environment knows how tiresome it can be). Me, taking a break for awhile, because the hobby is just that: a hobby.

I'll just live vicariously through you braver folks for awhile!

Oz, what I meant is that the mongers who were pulled into the room and arrested after knocking on the door probably incriminated themselves over the phone or via text before getting to the hotel. LE then had justification for the arrests.

While I wouldn't want to be in that position in the first place, I can't see any laws actually broken in the video. LEO just goes way to far sometimes.

It really varies on the girl. I've had some incredible porn star quality ladies (early-mid 20's) and then some that were a bit older than expected (30's) with some flab, hairy, cig breath. And some just mediocre. I'd say most of the time they are quite good. However, I would not see an agency for a little while (who knows if there's cameras in their apt) and being investigated? I highly doubt it, since it's in fulton county and they are not really doing as many stings as dekalb now, but you never know. Just be careful. I never gave them (nor do I any agency) my real info for screening.

Where / what reporter said the investigation has ended? In the news conference the officer said that they are still looking for more clients / buyers and for them to turn themselves in. For all I know, it seems like the investigation is still ongoing?

The people they may be asking to turn themselves in are people they likely caught on tape. They have nothing on people who may have called the agencies at some point or another but don't have any physical proof of what they did or did not do. Got to love the cops watching voyeur porno in the name of an "investigation. ".

The "anonymous tip" note, if true, confirmed my suspicions on how the whole thing went down. The big issue now is how this has upended everything. It's a whole new ballgame when they're planting cameras in private residencies and making a public show of arresting clients too. Yeah I think it's fishy too. The post seems designed to not suggest anything. The LEO plan is to get you talking, negotiating, and asking questions all while being recorded. I would be extra careful in Conyers.
