Bingo. Compared to places like Toronto, Hawaii, most of Australia, etc I don't think LA is all that special. It's just that there's a space here that many mongers can openly express their views without being worried about the hammer being thrown down. One of the few places for mongers to discuss bb stuff that you won't find elsewhere. Not only that, this thread is probably one of the most popular ones that gets replies AND more importantly views from the general public that won't ever make an account but use this thread for info.
