Hey fellas I was on k and thioga yesterday around 7:30 pm, there were LE everywhere. I saw about 30 plus marked and unmarked cars. Something big was happening last night for sure.

While LE may have been out in force, there has been no significant increase in arrests. There were a few arrests on 1/7/17 - even that was just a blip. January has had only 15 prostitution related arrests to date. This doesn't count possession or paraphernalia arrests where LE didn't chose to include a prostitution charge.

No males (Mongers or Gay tricks) have been arrested in January.

Over the past 5 years, January tends to have fewer arrests than an average month. December is usually one of the top months, presumably LE trying to get numbers up to increase year end totals.

Maybe it is my imagination, but since BP has removed it's escort ads, it seems like there are some new faces on the street, some higher end looking girls. Took a ride on the loop yesterday for about an hour, and even though I didn't partake, I saw quite a few ladies that looked like Backpage quality. Mainly on the northern end of K, close to the Bull. Guys, please chime in with your opinion on if you think the BP girls are hitting the street.

I'm not so sure many will be hitting the streets. Most of the ads on BP have migrated over another dating part of the site, so they're still able to pull in business it seems.

I've checked out the area both early mornings and rush hour, haven't seen too much of a difference in number of girls out, or quality. Maybe it's just my luck. Or lack thereof.

Look on the front page for a link to the 22 Rules for SW mongering- there are actually three posts and more than just 22 rules. If you do BP dating, there are rules for that too.

Think you'll find that gents are more willing to share specific girls when you contribute reports and demonstrate you are a contributing member. But few will help a newbie with, "here is my best girl" because we have done that in the past and the dude ends up being an azzh*le to the girl and then she dumps us too. Hate to be that way, but why would I share what I have earned through hard knock experiences? (just askin'.

So don't be discouraged. Pull up a chair, learn, and contribute.
