I find it quite intriguing one would be surprised to find a girl working on a Holiday. I ask why? There is no holiday hours for addiction. There is no paid time off or holiday pay. Happened to watch a documentary on addiction and the movement of drugs from the harvest till it hits our streets. The average lifespan of an addict is at best seven years. That's from the first contact with drugs till the last. That's some pretty serious info. These girls know they are flirting with death every time they roll up their sleeve. Yet they still do it in spite of the consequences. Then it's back to the street corners to work toward the next shot. If they step out to get a smoke then they are smoking and working. In any legitimate occupation someone that committed would be a prized employee. Not their chosen field though. Pretty sad existence.

So never be surprised if you see a girl working no matter what the day. They are always at work somewhere. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.
