If you aren't a local boy from the west side and you are walking down that street at all, everyone already knows where you are going. The place is poorly lit, away from traffic, horrible parking nearby, and no shops close to it. If you were going to go anywhere else it would be easier to take another street. Not to be a naysayer or step on anyone's toes, but I don't think that Happiness is any less safe than any place else. I mean, any place on Young street and you have the bar people and homeless to deal with. Same on Ward. Go to CC and you have to worry about people in the lobby or elevator seeing you. There are sketchy looking people all over town. Personally, when I go to Happiness, if I see someone, I ignore them and walk up like I belong there. Carrying ones self with confidence is always a good thing, even if you're faking it. Has anyone ever actually had an issue with someone there? That area is always busy. Daytime or nighttime. Happiness is not the place to go if you want discreet.
