It's obviously the use of drugs has exploded over the years. In the mid 70's it was like being in a candy store watching the streetwalkers. I'd respectfully disagree. Having been around for 25+ years most of them had dependency issues back then as well. The drug of choice has changed from Crack to Heroin to a large degree, but dependency has always been the number one reason.
