Prostitution 'is happening next door'.

An alleged sex trafficking operation based out of a Brighton home. In which police said johns used Backpage.com to set up appointments with three woman made to work 14 hours a day. Is not unusual, a sex trafficking expert said.

"It's very difficult for many, many people to comprehend how widespread it is, how deeply ingrained it is. This is an opportunity to say 'This is part of our society, part of our neighborhood. The Herald reported yesterday how a neighbor's tip led police to investigate and raid a Brooks Street home in Brighton earlier this year. Court documents outlined how two men and a woman. Hok Wong, 57, of Qunicy; Liwen Tang, 25, of Brighton and Liqun Xu, 32, of Brighton. Reportedly ran the operation from March to July out of the residence.

The trio used online advertisements at Backpage.com, a website that has come under fire by Attorney General Maura Healey and other officials for enabling sex trafficking, saying multiple young Asian girls were available for "services," court records state.

Prices were listed at $150 for a half-hour of services, $180 for a full hour and $360 for two girls, records state, with operating hours from 11 am To 1 am.

Detectives monitoring the house in June would on a daily basis see up to five men per hour enter the home, stay up to a half-hour and leave, according to documents.

Those records also say detectives confronted several men leaving the house who admitted they had just paid for sexual services, and that detectives reportedly observed Wong, Tang and Xu bringing people inside.

Boston police raided the house on July 19 and rescued three women, who were taken to the Family Justice Center of Boston for help, according to the Suffolk District Attorney's office.

Testifying before a grand jury with the assistance of an interpreter, the three women identified Wong, Tang and Xu as "boss" and said the trio gave them meals at the house, told them how much to charge customers and collected money at the end of the night, according to court records.

Police reported finding $80,000 in cash at the 108 Brooks St. House, along with a surveillance system and two boxes containing over 1,000 condoms each. That raid led to police searching another location and finding an additional $110,000 in cash, according to court documents.

Wong, Tang and Xu were each charged with owning a place of prostitution, keeping a house of ill fame, money laundering, and three counts apiece of deriving support from prostitution and trafficking persons for sexual servitude. They are being held in jail and their next court date is Jan. 19.

Day, who has made several documentaries about sex trafficking, said people continue to believe myths about sex trafficking. That it operates in "sleazy places" or that participants do so of their own free will. The Brighton case, she said, shows it can happen anywhere.

"This is a new form of shock," Day said. "That alone can encourage allocation of resources. ".

Yes, after one very enjoyable experience there about a month ago, I was in the area again weekend before last, so I swung by. Sign on the door indicated that they were closed but would return in an hour (or at 2:30 or something.) Figured maybe one lady working, had to run an errand, thought nothing of it. I could not stick around to find out, so I proceeded to Abington (hit or miss for me historically, but a major miss on this particular day.) It seemed like the place had promise, but if they are now not picking up the phone then that does not bode well. With the high traffic Laundromat next door, it had the feel of a short-lived hobby spot.

The massage got started which was pretty much just a rub. I expressed the same fear some years ago here and was advised to get out of the hobby. For various reasons I don't want to do that. I am also a germophobe but I found a way to deal with it.

I mostly go to AMPs mostly for HJ except when FS is offered and sometimes BP FS; never SW. I take Benzalkonium Chloride towelettes with me (like you use before peeing in the cup) and use them to clean up. You can get a big box on Amazon. I then use the alcohol spray in the massage room or a little bottle I bring with me. Stings my balls but I try to keep it to the base and pubes. The girls watch with surprise then understanding and sometimes comments of appreciation. I get regular FS at AMPs that don't always offer it if they remember me.

Standard AMP rubber tends not to go all the way down and I like to make sure balls, pubes and base are cleaned off. In the car I use an antiseptic hand cleaner on my hands and reach down my pants with it.
