So I guess we've all been there regardless of experience and contrary to what our good judgement screams to us. I answered an ad on CL https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/cas/5852363850.html and received a "sorry I'm answering late" message a few days later. She sent me a few pics and told me she was a student looking to make an extra buck. The pics looked good so. She asked for 160 but when I said I only wanted BBBJ, dropped it to 80. Gave me an address near Franklin Park off of BHA (alarm bell #1). She then wanted to talk on the phone and wanted to make sure that I was coming and wanted to know if I could go $10 higher (alarm bell #2). I told her no but would consider a tip if she was really good. I asked her how she wound up in that neighborhood and she tells me she took the apartment before she saw it (alarm bell #3) She calls me again when I'm on the way (alarm bell #4) to make sure I'm coming. Of course now I'm smelling desperate junkie but ignore the warnings as the little head is blazing a trail to her door.

I get there and she is waiting outside of a run down 3 decker. Pictures may have been her at one time but she's now a haggard druggie. We go to the 3rd floor and enter the typical junkie apartment, reeking of smoke, trashed, mattress on the floor with dirty sheets. You guys have all been there! Do I turn and go? Of course not because I'm an idiot. I pay the 80 and listen to: " I can't take off my top because I'm cold, I just had a tooth pulled so I can't suck long, I'm not much for talking dirty". Miraculously, I came from the feeble hand job that I wound up with and I get up, dress and leave. At least she didn't have the balls to ask for the tip.

So I'm driving home freezing with the windows down trying to get rid of the stink and wondering. Why the fuck do we do this!
