Posts: 51Interesting. It looks like they might be taking advantage you because they think you're a new comer. Regulars don't call to ask for a price. As Niteluvr confirms, $60 is the going price around Doraville. Actually, I don't even ask the price. I just have $60 dollars waiting before they can ask / tell me. They usually just accept it and I'm set from there.

Posts: 168First visit was really sexy, topless and she pulled down her shorts, so was mostly naked. LFK, FIV, handjob. Second visit she was a little less sexy with me and more pushy for the upgrade on time, so I added 20 minutes if she agreed to BBBJ which she did. At that point I had only agreed to the extra time but no $ for the "extras". Each time the tip at the end was up to me and not negotiated. So after being hassled to add $10 for oil, there was no discussion on extra money for the BBBJ and handy. I am sure she could have gotten more from me for the BBBJ than for the extra time, but that isn't how it went.

Posts: 168I agree with above most of the time- I think this conversation started regarding Rose in Norcross and it operates differently. You pay both the house and the tip at the end. When I have gone and asked for an hour at the special price, I get to a room and the massage starts. Then the upselling begins throughout the hour- add more time, special oil, table shower. So much so that it seems like those upgrades are commissioned as the girl was actively pushing these more than extra services. It certainly seems as though your chance of quality extras goes up by upgrading- at least that is implied. So at the end of my last session I only had what I brought in, and that meant a pretty low tip for the services I got as more of the money went to the house. But she didn't complain, and thanked me anyway. The advice here from many is only bring in what you are willing to spend, and if you don't get what you want for that amount, leave. At Rose, you pay everything at the end.

Posts: 529Yeah, one typical difference between KAMPs and CAMPs is at a KAMP you pay up front, and at a CAMP you pay at the end (but I'm sure there are exceptions).

Posts: 1868Well, there's no "pay after" at the spas; you pay up front. You pay at the door (usually a little window) to actually get in (that's when you'd use your coupon); when escorted to the room (depending on the spa configuration) you'll wait for your provider, and when she shows up, you'll negotiate and pay up front for any extra services. At that point, she'll take the money with her (or sometimes the mamasan is there and takes the money), returning to the room after a few minutes ("get comfortable" and at that point it's off to the table shower and extras, specifics depending on, well, specifics.

The spas are pretty in-control places; many actually have surprisingly cordial relationships with the police. Gold Spa, for example, has called the police in to deal with unruly clients. If a client DID try to clown it up on a coupon, most spas would have no problems calling the cops.
(Some of them have muscle nearby as well, I suspect. I remember many years ago, I left Gold Spa (I used to be a regular about 10-15 years ago during their golden age) to find my car battery dead. Not really wanting a Triple A truck blocking the parking lot, the mamasan ("Michelle", with whom I go wayyyy back) made a call, and about 3 minutes later this very clean and tricked out Ford F-350 rolled up, and a couple of unsmiling, serious looking Koreans got out and jumped my battery for me, no words exchanged. They looked like a couple of guys who knew the business end of a beat down or contract hit, but they did the job; good service!

Posts: 2410If they don't disclose what they're charging your not responsible; also, they won't call the police although they may threaten to, especially if upgrades are a common practice at the establishment.

I went through every ad I could find yesterday for all the spa's on the doraville buford highway strip, and made it a point of calling them all, k, rainbow, etc, they all quoted me 80 except 1 quoted 75, maybe if your going in and your a regular they are cutting you a deal, but every one I called, 11 in all quoted 80, I acted on the phone as if I had been there before saying last time I paid 60 (as many sites say they charge) they all said no that was old price, 80 now, I'm a SW guy mostly I wanted to transition over to going to spas, just nicer environment and I like asian girls, but 80 house fee just seems too high, but I will happily say if you can point me in the direction of a spa where I can pay 60 and 40 for extras I'll be the happiest man alive assuming they arent 50 year old women. Absolutely please PM me places you feel comfortable sharing anyone who knows of a spa that you "get your moneys worth" I'd love to contribute to this board as much as i enjoyed the SW board, unfortunately all i have to go by is what I was told over the phone and 2 bad experiences one being gg's (60 dollar cover and rediculous extras pricing) and Rose Massage in doraville that I couldnt get any extras but they offered a descent 40 dollar 45 minute massage. It's my birthday so any good places for fair prices would be awesome info to have in my inbox lol

Went to Royal last night. Got there and first thing I encountered was the increase in house fee. I only brought 140 with me so I was concerned that the 80 for an hour would be a problem. Then I saw the girl. Not exactly the prettiest. Maybe a 5-6 in looks. Flat and little to no ass. In a very unhelpful and amateur move, I forgot to get her name (definitely not Jenny). Anyway, I opted for the TS and was thoroughly cleaned. As I wasn't feeling a connection, I resigned myself to just taking the massage and I was sore and had a stiff back from working in the yard anyway. Let me say, the massage was great! Nice medium firm and no asking about oil or any upcharge crap. She spent a lot of time on my lower back, arms, legs, and feet. My watch showed I was getting all the benefit of my hour and as I wasn't feelin' her and was loving the massage, I was happy with this. Then the unexpected happened. On the flip, without asking, without negotiations, she took off her top and went right to the boys and had me released in a short time. Totally wasn't expecting that. Tipped 40. I was going to tip 40 anyway because the massage was so good, so left perfectly happy.

Posts: 13634I've only paid $60 lately at K Spa, Rainbow and Royal, so that $75 charge was probably a one-off. BTW, my insider Korean source tells me that Royal will be gone within a year as Doraville isn't going to renew their license. No word on K Spa yet.

Posts: 13634Did Coco openly offer a BBBJ the first time you saw her or did you have to work on her during several visits?

There are no hidden charges, they will ask you if you want extras like more time, or oil etc if you only brought the 40 tell them up from you want the 40 massage, if they ask you if you want to add anything like oil etc, say no thank you, you won't have any problem with "hidden" fees.

Posts: 282Yeah she looks good but the translation stuff and constant upsell just kills the mood for me. If I'm going to spend over a hundred I don't want to deal with all of that. I don't like the misleading signage also.

Posts: 168Coco of Rose has to use a smartphone to translate. That makes it more annoying- being face down and having somebody whisper in your ear for an extra upgrade is one thing, but with Coco she has to get your attention, type the question and show you the smart phone while you twist around to look behind you or what every other way you have to contort to read her phone. It is a mood killer, but they she looks you in the eye and it is pure trouble.
