I might agree with you and not just the post you talked about either, there are others.

They are here, they watch, they read and in many cases (myself included) we help them along. I think I am going to be a little more "cryptic" in what I write from now on.

I hear you Avg Joe. This is beyond lame considering all of the other crime in the world today. I feel bad for the gals and the customers. Hell there are people getting shot, beaten, committing robberies, heck even speeding driving 100+ on the highways and no one to give them an arrest or a ticket- ugh! My belief has always been that if the powers that be want to do something they will do it regardless of what's written on this forum or how we feel about it. Some of those places were in business for 30 years. To think they relied solely on stuff written in this little forum seems far fetched to me. I mean they could have done those raids a long time ago. I guess they did it once before, but if it was that much of a problem why didn't they do it the first year they opened? Why didn't they close them after they raided them in 2004? I'm not sure why they did their raids and why they did it now?

I appreciate the info all of us share. If people get too cryptic this forum will be useless. Although to the posters that just ask questions and don't provide anything- the heck with them. They deserve nothing. Just my opinion.

To my knowledge, they have always been careful not to use the word massage, either in person or on their website. Second, they are pretty smart never to ask for money for anything. They do not remove their clothing. There is a protocol followed that I have always felt is pretty smart that avoids the typical quid pro quo required to prove prostitution. Well Marty here's the problem with that, Prostitution is a sexual act for money. A handshake with Mr. Happy is a sexual act,. Teasing balls is touching in a private area a. K. a. A sexual act. They can twist the rules all kinds of ways just as well as "I did not have sex with that woman, Ms LewXXXsky". Rubbing a body is kinda like giving a massage, and if it's "kinda like" that and if you hired someone that didn't go for the 500 hours of school required for the licence and didn't have a licence, that's a Massage License violation. See this is what they can pile on with. I owned a bar in Milwaukee once, got busted for an undercover underage sting ordering a drink. And I as the owner as well as the bartender got fined too. I'm sure they want to go after the owners as well.

Now to be fair, they also have a lot to prove. Do they have video tape or a recording of it all. I would think they better if they want to prove their case. Not just "she touched me there" that ain't enough. Did the Asian places popping up as they do all over the country throw up the red flags to LEO? I think that was the final straw. I think the two places were fine and they never bothered anybody but when people saw the more places popping up that's where they drew a line in the sand.

However my biggest fear is the "LEO" as everyone calls them, the last thing I am looking for is a problem. Is there anything I need to be concerned with? Has there been any issues here before? Reading the reviews I am thinking of going with Nina for my first visit, is she a good choice? Do they kinda take charge once you get in or do I ask?? Thanks.

I think this is the thing you watch for the retired guy is talking about. You do a back search and read all his posts and it all comes together and hits you like a brick. Trying to find out what girls will break the rules, nothing but questions, questions, questions and never a report. Don't know for sure but sure could be. Now I lay under the radar and don't report much for a reason, I don't want to expose the girls to a lot of scrutiny. After all they know they are under a lot of microscopes. But LEO is here, watch what you say cause they are reading it. I'm going to lay back in the lake country in Wisconsin, sit back and have a drink for a while and see how this all plays out, to the girls I hope it all works out, maybe it's nothing the rest of them are in trouble with so hopefully it will get back to normal after the smoke clears.

Just had to say that I bridged the gap at CLV. And got the same service as I would in Rockford, with a bonus of a massage.

This is the holy grail for me.

Sorry this is my first report, I'm not very active in the hobby. I planned to post a review over 2 years ago but the woman I asked me not to post anything at all. And the real kicker is, the same folks who are pushing the hardest to get rid of the 'evil' massage parlors are the same ones who throw a fit over the idea of two guys getting married. The 'Moral Majority' types see it as their duty to make sure everyone lives to their standards, whether we want to or not. Personally, I wish they'd take their Bibles and pound them up their butts.

Anyway, I remember seeing the quoted post a week or so ago, as well as the follow ups to it, and thinking that something wasn't right. I think what you saw in HawksFan80's post was the last step in the 14 month investigation. I. e. , the choice of who to go after.

Read the post a few below yours and there is a link to WREX news in Rockford. All of the TV station shave the mugshot pictures and names in their reports. Doesn't tell you which shop they are from, but you will get the idea.

Belvidere Police say they've made multiple arrests after raiding four massage parlors in town.

Police say the businesses were C'est La Vie, the Executive Relaxation Station, Royal Oriental Massage and Spa Tui-Na. All of them are located on North and South State Street.

Officials did not say how many arrests were made, only that they are still in the process of sorting out information and figuring out who to charge and what to charge them with.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office and Illinois State Police helped with the raids of the businesses.

Another news outlet said they detained men as well. A similar event happened in Schaumburg last week. LEO came in the door and started going into rooms. It sounded like they went to more than one place there too.

Typical Crap that happens during election year. Maybe the AMP's in Belvidere will not survive but ERS and CLV have been there for 30 years and CLV has the original towels! It's business as usual and then it will all go away. I'm sure they knew they were coming. You never see the real owner of ERS there anyway.

What a surprise! These two places have been in business for over 30 years and I have to admit I have been going to them for over 20 years. Always had a lot of fun stopping and visiting with the girls. It's a shame that two professional places like this are picked on by the law. Have never been to the two Asian places, but can't believe the prostitution charges for some of the girls at CLV and ERS. I recognized three of the girls in the mug shots. All three are sweethearts and should not have there lives ruined by this. They have small children and need to make a living. I hope the owners CLV and ERS can straighten this out and open up again soon.

I can't speak to what goes on in places other than ERS, but as far as what I have observed over the past several years, I believe that the cops are going to have to lie to make a case. And if a massage ended with a handy (I said if because I don't know if that happens, everything I have ever written about this place has been made up and I assume everything I read was a lie to) that should not be considered in the same category as prostitution. These woman, with the help of the papers, now have their lives possible ruined, regardless of the outcome of what happens in court. Many of these woman are supporting minor children. I don't know how it is done but I would love to set up a go fund me page for the women for their legal fees. They need a good lawyer, not the typical hack who will just try to plead them out. Only if this is vigorously defended will the harassment stop. I know that they went through problems in 1999 and seemed to come out unscathed.

This was obviously a big operation. They say that they took computers, hard drives video. Let's hope the rumors about recording sessions was false. I can't believe that they would be that stupid. But who knows what phone numbers and names that have in their data base. This is another reason you should never use your real name or phone number. If you are contacted by LEO, of course you should say nothing. Do not deny being there, just do not talk to them. If they have something to arrest you on, they won't need to talk to you. The fact that they went in early in the day means that they already had their evidence. So presumably, they have had informants go in and they have been collecting data for awhile.

I became concerned when other establishments opened up in town. Just too much for a little town; gets the tongues wagging and puts pressure on officials.
