How EXACTLY can your info be gathered and used? They can't get it from us because we don't collect any info about our members beyond an email address. We have no names, no addresses, no phone numbers, no IP information, we collect nothing. Where EXACTLY would they get that? From our web hosting company? That's a German company, is so Orange County DA going to serve an international warrant under the Hague Conventions to try and secure a misdemeanor conviction on one of you guys for solicitation? The reviewboards members didn't get busted, its OPERATORS did because of their actions in conjunction to their business.

The Redbook guys went down for facilitation prostitution, again NONE of their members did. The Redbook guys were also in the USA, we are not nor are our servers.

They have to have reason to get the identity of some reviewers, and then prove that some of the reviews are real. If you don't book through the same site with the same handle, there's nothing on you.

In that case, nobody I think is prosecuted for just being a john. But a guy, unfortunately, arrived at a sting. For example at HX, you just put down money on the table and don't need to say anything. That's the old school to be unstingable. But now everything is agreed in advance so there's nothing to say. The website is run independently. Then you use PM. And the PM is separated from SMS. So you have to have both records to prove anything if at all. You have to bust the site for the PM. And you have to bust the booker for the SMS. It's almost impossible as he may be in India at a call center. If they bust the girl, there's nothing against you. Her phone only have records that somebody is coming and for how long. If they bust you there's nothing on your phone. Unless you volunteer your handle and your PM's. And it's not like they are using brothels. All this nonsense has a chilling effect throughout the industry. I really hope the nice people at usaXXXguide.info have good legal counsel and have taken precautions against this type of overzealous prosecution by the ill-informed, facetious, lying bastards who get off on trampling over the Constitution.

I travel on business often, and I can't imagine getting caught up in something like this when I am out of town. I mean, who would post bond for me? I am seriously re-examining my routine and will probably stay away for a while, just spending time with some long time regulars who are on the same page as I am.

Just curious regarding how the Redbook federal case was adjudicated. Did Omura plea bargain? The oinkers stole millions of dollars from him and charged him with several felonies. I didn't hear what happened in court though.

I was wrong. No jail for Lanoce only. And I bet Omuro could spend a few month only. And since he may very well be loaded, he can afford all the protection money.

For the clients, the new bit is that writing reviews can be taken as the promotion of prostitution. Let's see how the trial goes. But clients are dumb to meet. There are still socials in HX because it's the madams who organized it. She is sure those who turn up slept with her girls, and that LE are not allowed to do so. If you are local, the info at the toll road end of LF does not need PM. There are three where I fix small things for my car. For bigger things, I drive to Santa Ana. My local mechanics sort of tell me you get a good price if the shop has plenty of space. Or they will rush you car out and take others in, just like MP's, LOL.
