Was out tooling around listening to the Sox game & seeing who's around.

Went through Lowell earlier today & it looked like they were boarding up the Mayfair Apartments.
Seems the building was condemned after a sting late last month that led to 22 drug-distribution charges & also had dozens of building- and safety-code violations

Yes the Mayfair Apartments are closed down, wonder where everyone who lived there went? They had to board up the windows because people were sneaking back in. They are going to auction off the building, whoever buys it has a lot of work ahead of them. They should knock them down and build something new there.

I've been in town for about 6 months now. Reading, studying, and I think I had it all figured out. Was on Westford around 7:00, saw a blonde with white top and black pants. Did two passes. Got the nod, and was close to and headed to a gas station / convenience store. Pulled in and she was headed my way. In the parking lot, there was a crown vic with spot light. Granted, the driver looked pretty degenerate, but it freaked me out. And I took off.

Yes it's contagious, and no, I'm not a doctor. From what you say it sounds like herpes simplex, not the dreaded herpes we all fear. Herpes simplex is nothing serious, only a cold sore that appears once in a while, lasts about a week or two and can remain dormant for a short time or forever. There is no cure, but medication, when used at the first sign (usually a tingle on the lip) will shorten the time for a cold sore. It's passed on through kissing too.
