Not such a brilliant idea.

Fine to say, if it's your first time there, "I have a good friend who comes here, and he said I should visit you," while keeping things vague. If she asks you to describe your friend, just says he's a middle-aged white guy while not adding too many descriptives. Since so many mongers fall into this category, it's easier get things rolling that way and won't put any heat, from the provider, back on the monger who helped you out by writing the report.
