I was going to mention that charge but BS beat me to it. Just showing up is Assignation, that is making an arrangement for the deed, a crime itself.

Not much you can do if you get caught with an LEO posing as a provider. You called the number in the ad and showed up; no amount of talking will work at that point and like the posts on dealing with LE all say, your best bet is to STFU. STFU now.

On the bright side, there are a lot of good providers out there and all of the usual cautions and warnings will keep you safe. Find someone well reviewed by trusted reviewers and have some fun.

Just showing up in a room with a lady from BP almost makes a case for Assignation. If you get to a room and there is lady with out any reviews (or she had reviews but doesn't look like her photos) across from you dressed in street clothes or just minorly sluttishly dressed you should be very careful what you say when she asks you what you want to do. Say anything sexual and you are guilty. Don't let the little man get you locked up. You have damn good idea how ladies look and act. When you get in a room with a lady who doesn't fit the mold you need to drop back 15 and punt. Try to excuse yourself and leave. While you may get arrested what you say is going to have a serious bearing on whether you are convicted.

John Law has no problem locking you up on a charge they know you can beat because a lawyer may cost you some serious cash and the arrest may cost you your fucked up marriage.

Both John Law and you know why you were there. Don't ever talk to the John Law. What you saw will be used against you. STFU.

I only answer massage and body rub ads. I don't answer escort ads unless they specify massage. I always ask for massage in telephone calls and text messages. When I get there I make sure I get a crappy massage before anything more fun happens. Although I may touch her leg, I make sure she initiates sexual contact. I never discuss money until she has made substantial sexual contact with me. I don't think ULE is going to play with my unit.

There have been multiple times when I've left after only a massage and $10 tip. Perhaps more bravery on my part would have either gotten me laid or locked up.

I doubt police arrest many people when they answer a massage ad and make no sexual advances. The courts would throw such a case out. Too many such cases and the police would be reprimanded.

Very true when I was a witness in court fro AMP bust. I heard the prosecutor arguing with the undercover dick, who by the way wears two earrings, that she, Prosecutor, did not want to talk to the judge with such salacious details, he kept insisting to her will they where naked, she responded, " there is no law against being naked" These undercover cops, think they are saving the world, and are not looking in the right place for real traffiking in my opinion. Or maybe they are afraid too. Everything was throw out!

You're making a law school argument. You'll win every time in moot court, but the police will arrest you every time nonetheless. Since they went through all the trouble of staging the sting in order to arrest people, they are GOING to arrest people. They are effectively criminalizing the act of responding to a backpage ad. They'd probably prefer to criminalize the publication of backpage ads, but backpage has a team of lawyers to fight such things in court. You, I assume, do not.

If you search the forums there are plenty of good posts on the topic and a couple of good videos out on the internet.

Basically though, if you show up and are in the room when they are conducting a sting, you're busted. No magic words to get you out of it and even if you somehow technically did not break the law, LE everywhere is notorious for arresting and then letting the courts sort it out.

This is the truth and they will sometimes bring you in as a witness, if prosecutor does not press charges. I was at AMP years ago in a room alone and brought me in as a witness just to f at ck with me.

The best part is when I got to court after receiving summons the Prosecutor did not know why I was summonsed.

Basically though, if you show up and are in the room when they are conducting a sting, you're busted. No magic words to get you out of it and even if you somehow technically did not break the law, LE everywhere is notorious for arresting and then letting the courts sort it out.

I am almost positive that this is the ad on BP. She seemed kind of open, and gave out the location on the first call. The 60 dollar special for the looks was strange too.

Yes, the $60 special for her seems out of place. But does anyone know how to get busted in Howard County?

1: Do you have to ask for or respond to a specific sexual act in exchange for money in order to get busted?

2: Without #1, and just entering the room with the fake escort, will that get you busted?

3: Did I miss anything?
