Nothing is too demanding at any point in the process! We need to take care of ourselves first and we need to do that by any means possible. If it's a simple request for a pic or an odd request for a fetish. Either way it's what makes the consumer happy with the transaction. If you aren't comfortable then none of this works.

I have no problem asking a provider for a picture especially if their advertisement does not contain one. The worst that can happen is that she refuses and that may be good reason for caution. After all you are the buyer.
