This is one of those times when you really should have RTFF. If you had you would have learned many useful things. You would have learned that Sara8032 is not only a highly respected and well-reviewed member of our community, she's always watching out for us, helping to keep the hobby just a little safer.

You would have also learned that Indyguy123, when he's not getting lap dances from new senior members, or trying to rub the freckles off of a redhead's thighs, is just as diligent in looking out for us.

There are very few people on the Indy board who are as well vetted as these two. To even suggest both of them would be parties in something underhanded shows a serious failure of your judgement.

When we tell people to RTFF, it's not because we don't want to answer the question, it's because we want you to learn. We want you to learn who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. We want you to learn who are the good girls and who are the bad Girls (and which good girls are really good at being bad, in a good way). We want you to learn from our mistakes and our successes. Finally, we want you to learn how to make the transition from newbie to brother.

Let's apply a bit of reasonableness here. We tell the newbies to be cynical, we tell a long detailed story about how the po po got to hobbyists from the inside via compromised accounts, and then attack someone questioning what could well be a round up if we didn't know the key players better. He could be an idiot, or he could just be scared shitless because of our hobbying environment and all the long timers telling everyone to watch their shit like a hawk.

As deputy cynic, I say this M&G is on the up and up, but it's certainly good to question something before accepting it as gospel. That's the whole point of EVERYTHING we all say to the newbies about how to protect yourself. Be cynical, then research. And that's where Jjbee is right, your research starts with reading the fucking forum.

If her website is still up, I know she had her odd version of what went down in that sting, for whatever that's worth. But that was already well after the Bbeall debacle and our loss of one of the really good people in the hobby.

I'm probably going to cut my own throat here but I have a relative who's a narcotics officer and he pulls the same crap. He uses all the traps "if you cooperate things will go easier for you. " Or "if you help us out I will put in a good word with the prosecutor".

There's 2 problems with this.

1. You have to rely on his word! Chances are you can give them everything they need and they just take the info and send you to the pokey without ever putting in that good word.

2. If he did put in that good word the prosecutor chooses to ignore it.

He knew that it wouldn't. Numerous times on NR he would say if you get caught keep your mouth shut. He should have taken his on advice.

The thing with GR that I always figured his excuse was crap was he had contact with a provider a day or two after his arrest (it was either cate or deb). And when everyone put two and two together and knew what he had done it logged in under a feweek different handlestyles.

So when he claims his lawyer says don't contact anyone in the community that includes trying to see a provider and vehemently defending himself in an open forum. He can do those to things but not warn anyone? I call bullshit.

My alcoholism won't allow me to remember when that was though. Last two months I think. I'm really far down the rabbit hole and need help. Time is weird.

Since it's obvious you have no common sense when you are drunk from previous posts, I will chalk up the June 11 post as a drunken episode on the board. So here is my suggestion.

Please contact your local IT expert and have them install a breathalyzer on your computer so when you have been drinking you can't turn on your computer if you are over the legal limit. This will save you a lot of grief on the board and maybe keep you off permanently since you are an alcoholic, your words not mine. Then try AA and get back to reality because your posts are from the "Twilight Zone" and you are becoming an Obsolete Man.

This seems a "little trappy " Yes your right Sara and Indyguy123 among others are all in on this trap. It's where we get newbies to come and we flogged them for asking stupid questions.

It's called a "Meet and Greet " hosted by a reputable provider and not some drug infested BP want to be. Believe it or not there are a lot of us that get together and our friends outside of this. Good people we can count on.

SP8 was an IMPD Vice Sting Operation that occurred on May 10th, 2013 at the Country Inn and Suites just off the I-65 Southport Road exit. In case you haven't already cracked the code-- SP comes from Southport and 8 comes from the number of guys who visited the graybar hotel as a result of it.

A local provider named Kandi who was on the now defunct NR was busted by vice. Kandi had managed to carry out several successful visits with local hobbyists before she was arrested and vice. Young and scared, Kandi allowed IMPD vice to take over her NR account and phone.

Once vice was in the possession of Kandi's account, they convinced a local well known hobbyist who had actually visited with her to write a review on NR. For the purposes of this posting, let's call this person MR62.

In the meantime, vice had also been corresponding with another well-known local hobbyist (the aforementioned Boiler Fan) for an appointment. When the arranged appointment with Boiler Fan occurred, he became the second local to be arrested and turn over his accounts to IMPD Vice. Boiler fan wasn't young and should have known better to allow this. They proceeded to write Kandi another glowing review using Boiler Fan's accounts.

So now we have a new young provider with reviews from two well-known hobbyists. And you know how it goes, everyone loves fresh meat.

Less than a week later, the sting was setup and they were reeling in hobbyists at the rate of about 4 per hour until their cover was blown.

The IMPD decoy who stood in the place of Kandi was Officer Tabatha McLemore.

MR62's online reputation was destroyed by this turn of events. But in his defense, he reviewed girls all of the time and was willing to help the new Kandi out. He was not aware that the account was in the possession of Indy Vice, which I believe now.

However, Boiler Fan knew that IMPD had possession of his accounts and knew the review was false and should have warned someone in the hobby community about this. All he had to do was tell one provider. He defended himself by saying his lawyer told him not to contact anyone in the community. But his silence bought 3-4 days of time for IMPD Vice to setup a sting with Kandi's online presence. Lawyers don't always give good advice.

There you have it.

Note to Admin- Not trying to break any rules, just answer a question from a local hobbyist.

I don't see any violation of any rules. My issue has never been that something like this couldn't happen, I only take issue with guys that say people get busted from the information posted. Getting caught up in a sting and having your phone seized is not the same thing as "oh my god if you write that they will arrest that girl."

You can get caught in a sting on any online site, NR, BP, Us whoever. But that is them putting the cuffs on you when you show up, you deliver yourself to them. Not them knocking on your door from something you wrote here. It's a whole different thing.

Once you move from online to reality the same rules as a boxing ring apply, "protect yourself at all times."

I am sitting here thinking about all the newbie dweebs over in the escort thread fretting about who I was talking about. I can just see them going back through 1300+posts trying to decipher who it might be. Good fricking luck. First I post only about a small fraction of whom I've seen, so the numbers are going to be skewed way low even if you try to backtrack old posts and I will be on the dirt side of the grass long before they can just make a list. Second, I never said I have actually seen or been with the girls in question so there's a twist to try and work out. So did he or didn't he? Mmmmm? Third, I did not put a date on it, could be local girls, UTRs, touring pros, amateurs or SA babes, visitors or residents, so who knows who might have been around.
