I happened to be checking her out while this posting was going on.

She isn't a sting, just a youngish girl with not enough common sense in the hobby. Told her "that's how people get arrested". Continued to chat with her for a bit, and everything that she said matched up with the recon I had done, so I thought I was in the clear. She still pressed for me to give a price, and after some negotiating about specifics regarding a cover (Red Flag #2), we settled on $. 25 and she asks for a pic, which I send her and then began the drive out.

While on my way there, she wants to clarify the amount of time we're going to spend together since it was never discussed. I tell her hh, and that I'm near. She gives me directions for the pickup (what is it with women and directions? I have GPS on my phone, just give me the address, not some rambling "turn left here, turn right here BS). Due to her crappy directions, I end up on the wrong road, with a cop behind me (Red Flag #3). Middle of the night so there's very little traffic, I figure that's why he's following me, so I drive around a bit until I lose him. By this point, she's saying she can't wait much longer because its late, and that she didn't get the pic I sent. (This turns out to be red flag #4). I send new pic from my actual number instead of GV, and I find my way back to where I'm supposed to be. I go down the street that she directed me to, its a dead end, and completely dark, so I turn around and get the hell out of dodge. Ask her if she received the pic I sent, she stops replying, so I decide that I'm heading back home. Look in my rearview and what do I see? My friend LEO again. Follows me down to a T intersection, right on my ass the whole way. I turn, he turns around and goes back to where he came from.

Personally, I have my doubts you encountered a sting. Small town cops have time, yes, but not resources. If it's late at night and you're the only car on the road, you're bound to catch their eye. And again, small town cops have nothing but time on their hands.
