What really could be done if your name and number was on DM's books. I know that the law could make things a bit uncomfortable for mongers especially those that are married, but really could be done. Would LEO spend that much time and money watching a place like. You would think that if they were after the person behind the operation that they would simply go and get them. It's not like the mongers that visit that place are like Charlie Sheen and get big press time for being a customer.

This is exactly right. It's good to be cautious, but many mongers on this site are far too paranoid about the police and deeply misinformed about what the police and law enforcement can do (or are likely to do). It's good to be cautious, but many people on here take it to a level that's just silly. Imagine that DM has a huge list of phone numbers, and yours is on it. Is it possible you could be prosecuted? Yes. Is it likely? Very, very unlikely. The courts have limited resources. Imagine what they would have to do: The phone number by itself is nowhere near enough to convict you. They'd have to interview the girls, get them to identify you, and on and on. Can you imagine the expense of this? Not going to happen. If anything, they'd do a raid and prosecute only those found on site with their pants literally down, along with DM's proprietor.

And yes, you could be caught in a raid, but these are like earthquakes or plane crashes. In most cases, there's just nothing you can do about it but take your chances. Same as when you go to a message parlor. Same for those mongers who like streetwalkers and get a blowjob in their car.

If anything bad did happen as a result of DM having your phone number, I think the most likely thing is that it could get out to the public and embarrass you. If this is the case, I have no sympathy: Use a burner or get a different line for mongering. I never ever use my "real" phone number to talk to providers. You shouldn't either. In fact, I have a separate email account, a separate phone number, separate everything.

The authorities subsequently created escort profiles for "Tallahassee Jack" and "Marcus Arelius". Authorities assert that these names were eventually banned from the site as escorts, but two were subsequently allowed to join as members.

At about that time, the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office learned that the Orlando Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation was also investigating *********.net. Working together, the two organizations collected further information that subsequently led to the issuing of warrants to arrest the alleged owners of the site, prostitutes, managers of prostitutes and individuals using the services of the prostitutes on the site. In June of 2002, the warrants were exercised and a number of arrests were made including the two alleged owners of the site.

I have a burner phone with a number that constantly gets calls for a girl who didn't pay her student loans, and other calls for a latin person who has bounced checks. I am at least the third owner of this number.

I'm retired LEO (there's a lot of LEO mongers on the DM books) my buddies tell me the heat is on big time. I'd stay away 100% and replace your hobby phone to be off their books. Outcall, incall, it doesn't matter. Stay away.
