Abortion was legalized 50 years ago. How did that one slip by?

The older I get, the less I respect cops. It should be the other way around. It is a little boys club. Do they serve and protect? Absolutely. However, it is in the realm of a little boys club. Don't doubt that.

Posts: 45[Arrest/Conviction/Incarceration/Release Report deleted by Admin]
EDITOR'S NOTE: This report was deleted because it was a report regarding an individual who was arrested / charged / awaiting trial / convicted / awaiting sentencing / incarcerated / released / on probation for engaging in commercial sex activities or any other non-violent crime.
I want to say this carefully so no one gets the wrong idea: Posting the names, mugshots, case status, incarceration status and/or the release dates of people who have been arrested for engaging in commercial sex activities is really just helping the police in their efforts to embarrass these people.
Since this website is all about assisting people in obtaining commercial sex services, we don't want to add to the problems of the unfortunate people who have been arrested by publishing their names, mugshots, case status, incarceration status, or release dates.
Thanks!

Prostitution has been around forever and always will be. Different countries manage it differently. In many countries it is legal and regulated, which reduces crime, disease, and mistreatment of women. In the good old USA, the problem is that ever since the Puritans religious conservatives have wielded disproportionate influence in our society. Sadly I don't see that changing anytime soon, so commercial sex will remain in the shadows and back alleys.

One last one, what happens if the girl is under age? Then the cop just raped a kid in the line of duty, because we know they are not checking I'd's. This is more reason to legalize prostitution. Lets leave consenting adults alone, there is no crime and no victim. Ill bet if all the states were to put legalizing prostitution on the ballots, it would pass overwhelmingly. On a brighter note Canada's supreme court voted 9 to 0 to legalize prostitution.

If a bunch of johns on backpage were to get together and somehow expose the actual names of the courageous officers who are doing this, say on a new website, I predict the following could happen:

- Those using proxies or VPNs may be harder to find or may require NSA help (they penetrated many VPN providers); NSA would likely refuse (as in the Apple case, arguably), so those perps may get away, or feds may launch more targeted hack attacks (man in the middle, malware, etc.) against them.
- Perps arrested and charged (likely with something serious like "endangering lives of police officers" or so).
- Action McNews gloats, shows brownnoser interviews with cops, DAs, repentant perps, etc.
- Clueless population at large breathes sigh of relief.
I am as disgusted as you are, but I think the only possible solutions are political or legal ones. After all, in addition to all sex workers, half the population (all men) could potentially be in favor of hassle-free commercial sex. Even happily married men would understand that it would reduce the chance of someone seducing their presumably faithful wives. Happily married women would prefer that their husbands buy sex instead of having an affair with their own BFF. Unfortunately, religious fundamentalism and 19th-century world views are huge obstacles here. To be sure, they would also prevent some of us of coming out publicly with such an agenda.
And legally speaking, I wonder whether a case could be made that criminalized prostitution is against basic rights guaranteed by the constitution. I'm no legal expert, but to me it is, based simply on common sense. Of course, the constitution has been used as toilet paper as a matter of routine, and common sense is not popular either.
This kind of topic / discussion does not really belong in a local forum but in a general nationwide one. This site has a few but they are all but deserted.

Posts: 654I like your idea about getting the word out, this story is over a year old and very little traction. Seems like a group of guys working together could get the word out one way or another. What really gets me is the righteous cause over morality to pursue these misdemeanors yet they have no morals in how they do it.

Wow, this is corruption at its worst. The chief and all involved need to be fired. Post their names so there wives and girl friends will know what they are doing in the line of duty. What happens is the cops get HIV from the prostitute, I guess the will charge her with attempted murder. And when a good cop tries to stop this crap he is the only one fired, give me a break.

Posts: 246Looks like some kind of scam to me
The photos are of a girl with a beautiful face and fabulous smile and do not appear lifted from anywhere online; video looks authentic, too, but her ads appear separately in the RDU section and then combined, all over NC.
http://raleigh.backpage.com/FemaleEs...proof/27700052 <-- "Location: Raleigh -Durham, Raleigh / Durham".
http://winstonsalem.backpage.com/Fem...-days/27700876 <-- "Location: Eastern NC, Fayetteville, Outer Banks, Raleigh / Durham, Raleigh-Durham, Winston / Salem".
Phone number has been used with photos of another girl up in VA, which reinforces the suspicion.
Anyone know more?

Location (hotel) and charge (prostitution) indicate that they probably actually sent an officer to pose as a john. I wonder if he fucked her first. These guys are so admirable; the things they sometimes do to keep us safe, and we are sooo ungrateful.

That is Trinadee. Never saw her but she and her sister have been talked about at length. Guess she did not leave town soon enough.

Found this ad. The lady says her name is Marcie. Is this "the" Marcie?
