Well guys, I tried my best to see Dahlia today, but it just wasn't meant to be.

Did you ever set out to do something and it seemed like every force in the universe was against it? That's how the appointment with Dahlia went today-- and the universe won.

I won't go into everything except to say that out of three attempts to see Dahlia, I've had one success.

On the first attempt, there was a problem with the hotel water. Not her fault not mine. She offered to see me later that night, but I couldn't.

Second attempt was successful and fabulous. I wrote a review here about it in anticipation her return to Indianapolis.

Third attempt was this one. On the way to the hotel, I receive a text from her assistant "She has to cancel, she doesn't have a room. ".

I pulled off and managed to get her assistant on the phone and explained that I had some cushion in my schedule if she could find something. Her assistant assured me she would let me know something in a few minutes.

A few minutes later, I received a text "She can meet you 30 minutes later than the scheduled time. " So I finished the trip to the hotel. At T-minus 5 minutes, I get a text "She has to cancel because she won't be ready. ".

I just thanked her for her help and told her that I was disappointed that we couldn't meet. What else can you do but be a polite as possible and move on-- and I did. The last thing I want to do is see a lady who isn't ready and doesn't wish to go through with the plan.

If any of you actually saw her, let us know how it went-- but no gloating!

Having a conversation was nice, and she is kind of a smart ass like me, so I was very happy. I went for the middle of the road option on extracurricular activities and it was the best I have ever had. She teased me, which I had not had since I was a lot younger, and she really seemed to enjoy it.

Saw Mmgeg the other night. I am still weak in the knees and drinking fluids to fully replace mine.
