My first experience was with Becki Lebeau, and I had the same problem of no references. If you're willing to work with them, they're usually willing to work with you.

Same thing happens with providers. No one wants to see them with out reviews, but how do you get reviews if no one will see you. This is for the providers safety. Every lady screens differently. If they don't screen at all, you are taking a serious gamble as if they don't screen for their own safety, are they really that concerned about yours. Best bet is probably to get a well known monger that knows you to vouch for you. But, that won't always work. I know I need at least a verifiable phone number that comes back to you minimally. Put yourself in her shoes.
