I wouldn't say inflated. The reviews I've read on the Providers I've seen are well within the spectrum of the sessions I've experienced.

I believe most reviews here (good and bad) are pretty legit. Sure there are probably some reviews that could be from a provider trying to self promote herself. For the most part I trust the reviews here. I've never had a bad session from the good reviews I've read on a provider I'm interested in seeing.

Who has proof in any of this? Even posts on here. Other than a large number of posts who's to say if all of the members have actually seen the talent they are talking about? Especially in TER or MPR, what kind of policing can their really be? What's to prevent me or any other hobbyist from submitting reviews from 10 visits I've had or not had over the past 5 years? Perhaps the self promoting, all 10 reviews are suspect, but I could go into TER right now and post about "Alice" or "Suzie" or "Ming" at any of the multiple Chinatown MPs and leave a review in line with other previous reviews. I could go down the list of TER reviewed MT's and add my own report on any of them.

That said, I have enough to do in my life and another $100 a year spent on the hobby is nothing for membership.

PS, you should always rely on multiple sources anyway. YMMV and MHO should always be qualifiers for any published post.

If you have first hand knowledge, great & share. If it is second hand or other, fine but state so. I always do research of what I find out there or read in here, and I make the final decision as to what action / inaction to take. If you want to want to submit lies in here or out there and do all us wrong, I can't stop you, nor do I want to waste my time. The responsibility for my safety is mine. We all are trying to stay safe.

Do you have proof? Suspect? Hearsay? Experience? Or rumors? I know we all don't want to get caught or end up in a bad situation, but I just want more details and links if it is true. Otherwise I will make a note of it.

There are a group of folks who police and report fake reviews. I don't know whether these guys have a real life offline and outside of hobby. So, earning membership with fake reports would actually need a lot of work to avoid being detected. Heck, even I can smell and identify some of the fishy, fake, self-promoting reviews now.

Yes, I read that too. Honestly that's the way it should be. The reviews need to be legit otherwise they are worthless. I submitted a few reviews and got a free membership for 2 weeks I think.

I disagree. I bet it was her on the phone. Anyone can see she's a light-skinned black girl with bleached hair. If she had said that white and educated line to me, I'd have replied, "I am white and educated, and it isn't an act". Then I'd have hung up.

Contacted this one and she had an attitude from the get go. Wanted to know what the donation was, she wouldn't answer thru text so she asked me to call and I did and asked her again what the donation was. She didn't seem to understand which I thought she would since it's simple discrete language. So then I asked her how much generosity is needed; she got frustrated it seems and asked me with an attitude "Why are you trying to act white and educated". Now I'm not "black" but no matter what I thought that could be a LEO sign being mad I'm using codewords or just another provider that will have a list of rules, attitude, come late then rush me. So I just hung up. Looks TGTBT anyway minus the silly hairstyle. Be cautious with this one.

I would have bailed as well, but I doubt you were set up as an LE sting. Usually they already have unmarked cars and personnel already in place for these BP stings, so they don't spook the john before the sting happens.

Or they could be idiot cops, too. I don't stick around for any hint of LE, even perceived LE. Marked units would have me bail immediately.

Great advise and we need to all digest it especially when something like this is in front of us in reality! I "knew" a high end pro (believe it or not as a friend). Nope, not a pimp. I was going thru some rough relationship rebounds. Anyway she made me aware of many of the precautions she took prior to walking into a hotel. And like I said she was high end so these weren't the stop and flops. For example telling the john to crack the door open and not wait in the hall or be right at the door. Then of course she would go by the room and listen to the rooms across and on the side of the john's room just to feel out any unnatural sounds. She only got busted once when she was answering phones for an office, but yeah I agree let our big heads rule in these situations.

Anyone ever notice Backpage has "hidden" ads? Like if you search for something, it'll list regular results then it'll list "Additional Ads" - seems like those Additional Ads don't show up in the main listing.
