Did the south side stroll late yesterday afternoon about 4 pm. For the most part nothing to be had on either G, L or and. I was going to give up and check out the casino action when I saw short blonde Erica on G near the Speedway. Found a spot in a parking lot and agreed on price of $35 for BJ. Well I guess that explains why she seemed to be scanning my car so hard for weapons. I think I met her several months ago around 17 & North. She was late 20's and actually fairly attractive. It only took a few minutes before she started demanding a lot of money. I kept saying No & get out. Finally after about 15 minutes of arguing, she claimed she had a gun. That was the limit for me so I said "What a coincidence. I've got one too. " and I pulled out my Sig to show her. Probably not a smart thing to do but her attitude changed really fast. She started whining about how hard her life has been. The SW exited my car then with no further trouble.

I wish I had pulled my stun gun but it wasn't handy. Nothing like hearing the electricity crackle to put fear in someone.

For the record, I treat all SW very well as long as they don't try to rip me off. Over the years, I have had several long-term relationships with the ladies. Never pulled a weapon before and hope I never do it again. But, the streets have gotten meaner. For me, North between 12th & 20th is strictly off-limits. I'll stick with my regulars who have phones rather than prowl the streets.

Picked up a BSW late on a Saturday night on North near 14th or so and parked a little north of and. She was acting weird by turning the light on in the car and looking all around like she wanted to see if I had any weapons or something, then she started asking what I'd do if someone tried to rob me.....

Be safe out there boys, and think about carrying around a worthless VISA gift card with you since it may come in handy. Remember these girls always seem to have less to lose than you do, which means they'll risk it all where as you won't. Wish I could give a description of her that would help, but all I can remember is she was a thin BSW prolly in her 30's. Won't narrow it down to much on that loop.

I never see much at the Casino. Must not be a user friendly place for the working girls.

I was in Las Vegas last week and got propositioned twice, but I was with Mrs. Kane. Never seen anything at Potawatomi, but I have seen SW's out in freezing weather and blowing snow, and only idiots were out driving. Yes, I am an idiot, but a lucky idiot that night. I have been wondering the same thing. Some of them might go to the bars in the area. Some might go into the fast food joints to stay warm. Some might hang out in the convenience stores until they get kicked out.

I never see much at the Casino. Must not be a user friendly place for the working girls.

It seems to me like they start calling every number on their phones. There have been nights where I'll get calls from 5 or 6 girls trying to set something up. I think if there was an indoor spot like a bar or casino which allowed them to work we would never see them on the streets.

I had an hour so I drove through the south side. Two passes on G one on L and one on and. I saw four total. All were doable if I had time. Three WSW and one BSW. The BSW was first mistaken for a civilian. She was waving at a friend and running. Looked very pretty young and healthy. Was very surprised when on the second pass she waved at me. Best BSW I have seen in a long while. Wish I had more time.

As I'm trying to think of a way out she grabs the keys out of the ignition and starts yelling there is guy outside my window with a gun and I need to give her all my money. Now I don't believe for a second there is a guy with a gun out there, and there isn't, but I still don't like the situation I'm in. I should have had an extra set of keys on me, but I didn't, and even if I did I'd still have the problem of getting this nut out of my car. Well, per the rules, I'm not caring any other cash or valuables on me and tell her as much, even displaying an empty wallet. She says we need to go to an ATM so I can get some cash to give her. Well at this point I'm pretty tempted to get out and drag her out of the car, but on the North side past midnight there is a lot that can go very wrong with a white guy trying something like that, or if a cop drove by there would obviously be another kind of trouble. So I say OK. But she won't give the car keys back till she gets some collateral. She wants a credit card. Well as luck would have it I happened to have a Visa gift card on me with about 0 dollars and 56 cents left on it. Guess who can't tell the difference between a visa gift card and a visa credit card? Yeah, most SW's is the correct answer.

So she takes it and give me the keys. I start driving and she tells me to turn west on North Ave. Well there is a gas station a block or 2 east on North, and no ATM's that I'm aware of to the west. So no way in hell I'm going where she is telling me to. So I hang a left to go east and she starts flipping out and grabbing at the wheel and trying to shift the gears of the car. Luckily she only got it to neutral before I got her under control with my non wheel hand and was able to make it to the gas station. After some pursuading that she has my card and I'm not leaving without it, she agree's to get out of the car and go in with me to the gas station at which point I high tailed it back to the car and left her with the 56 cent gift card for her troubles (and the original 20 from the original transaction I guess). I can live with those losses.
