She goes inside. After a minutes, a black dude comes, looks at me and walks around the same corner and probably pointing to her taps on the corner room window, signaling THIS room. She had said "literally 5 minutes" but I wait. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes. Txt her, uh my "my friend is trying to get the room, I can't leave without getting the room" 35 minutes later, I've watched several of the ladies of BP come to life in Capital Central and watch pimps park and the dealers signal. Ok, I call it a loss and a day. Then Trinadee reappears and comes and gets in my car.
She's a different person. She is high on something. Well, her friend couldn't get the room bc her IDEE doesn't work at this location but later they'll move to another location. So where is the money. Her friend has it but of course she is trustworthy. I should be pissed but I actually feel bad for her. She used some of the money to get high, the dude probably said he'll get a room and she's not getting the money back. Or who knows what the truth is when it's lies on lies, they even start believing their own lies. Now that she got her medicine, I see she has no interest in food and even being around me.
I tell myself, I'll feed her and won't care after that. She wants to go to McDonalds around the corner. No, I tell her we'll go somewhere where she can get a nutritious meal and eat some vegetables. Once when I told her she needed to eat and not the crap she gets from fastfood, she made a long list of her favorite vegetables like a 5 year old kid. When she was spiraling into this life of demons a month ago, she'd also cried and said "*SOB*, I don't eat nothing, I don't sleep for days, I hate it, I hate it. I don't know what to do " Now she was high and told me lets top at McDonlads, her sister is now there. So we stop around the corner at McDonalds. I say, go get your sister. It's pouring outside, I tell her she can have my umbrella since she's walks around Capital. No, she tells me the rain is nothing.
I wait 5 minutes. 10 minutes. Go inside to have a look. She's gone. Call, no reply. Call, voicemail. I find it hilarious that having a soft spot can make you such a sucker. I am thinking these girls would not have done this a couple months ago. I have so many texts that read something like "We really appreciate all you did for me and my sisters. You've helped soooo much. Thank you. " They were really sweet girls. Now, I can easily imagine them progressing to the next stage where they might lure a regular into a beat down and robbery.
I sent a final text: "Wow *InsertHerRealName*, I didn't know you were like that".
15 minutes later reply: "I can't believe you left us in the rain, I didn't no you was like that".
I reply: "Yes, I gave you $. 2, was going 2 take you 2 eat, and planning getting something warm from Costco since it's getting cold" "Plus, I called and check all thru McDonalds" "That's how you treat someone who is nice to you" "Thanks".
Her reply, 5 minutes later: "Nooo, it wasn't like that I was in the bathroom, then seen you was gone so I walked back to the room".
Ridicule me, I turn into a fucking idiot with one of these girls every few years, thinking I can help.
