This may sound a bit WTF? Back in days when I used to hobby a lot on weekly basis (3+ times a week for like 12 years.). I would pack a bottle of rubbing alcohol with me and clean up the area after the deed. I never had any issues, or any form of burns. Now that I am lurking but have not yet taken the plunge yet; I might stop at walgreens and pick up a bottle before my apt. I know that it may not help against some viruses but at least it reduces the chances and the peace of mind is well worth it. Just wait 15 minutes before you light up a cigarette after you soaked your tool in alcohol.
