Last night I had a thing in Sanford which ended around 9:30 so I tried the 17/92-Sanford Ave loop. Nothing. Finally culminating in once again riding the N. OBT / Edgewater loop until about 1 am. Is on the trail near Holden and I4 at a notel. Very very cute white girl with beautiful hair and face. From Cocoa beach and is in town for weekend. In her haste to leave with my wallet she left her lighter and crack pipe in my vehicle, and also her cell phone. I called all 4 contacts in her phone, one answered, had a long conversation and learned the real identity of this SW. The message I left was, I just want my pictures, ss card, and license, but I'm 100% sure my wallet was ditched the second she saw nothing but maxed out plastic and costa rican money I saved as a souvenir. Again, I'm more aggravated than upset. The only person I'm upset at is myself. If I was a different kind of guy, I would stalk the trail every single night until I saw her again. But I don't have that kind of time nor am I that type of guy. Couple of friends have suggested filing a police report. Problem is, I haven't told these friends that I was mongering when I got ripped off. So my question to the board is, should I still file a report?

Needless to say, just 6 months in Orlando and I already got hit. That tells me I didn't do enough research before venturing out and that I just need to stay off the trail for a while. I shouldn't be doing this shit anyway. Stay safe out there gentlemen.

Mongers fall into two types. Those who have screwed up and those who will. It is just the nature of the game. The more one plays clearly the more the odds are that something less than stellar might happen. We all learn from our mistakes. Hopefully we all learn from the mistakes of others so we do not have to suffer the same pain. Chin up, thanks for sharing which should remind all to be aware of surroundings at all times. I feel for you, know it stinks but hey no physical harm, no unwanted bracelets or car rides.

I've been there man. I'm sorry it happened to you. My first experience on the trail I got ripped off. I stayed away for a while. I learned from it though and came back. If the trail isn't for you, it isn't for you, but if it is, this is a clear lesson to lock your valuables up. Hope you have better experiences in your future in Ho-Town brother.
