I have traveled extensively for years and decided long ago not to have the same avatar for too many locations. I don't ever want my actual travel schedule to (too) closely match my location postings. This for the purpose of domestic tranquility, as this is after all, a discoverable resource for shysters.

Keep in mind that there are regional favorites as far as posting and review boards. Unfortunately, some areas are starved for intel and / or resources. Developing some trust among other mongers has always resulted in the best referrals. We actually managed pretty well before there were any internet boards (gasp). The approach was just different and an understanding of nuance was useful.

Of course, resources like this board are very valuable but just have more "noise" that requires filtering.

It seems like other area boards do not share or always play nice. Also seems like request for info via PM go unanswered. Anyway I assume that many here travel on business or pleasure. It can change, but its a long process.
