I ventured to a strip club last night for only the second time in my life. I chose Bogarts and arrived very after one in the am. I was quickly approached by a very attractive brunette whose name I think was Renee? Forgive my lack of precision as I was very nervous. She quoted 140 for CBJ or 240 for CBJ and CFS. Boring, thought I, so I politely declined. Then I was approached by a chunky blonde in a white shirt who was drunk, followed by a very cute short girl with light brown hair and glasses. I liked her, and she whispered 100 for a BJ. She initially responded covered, I countered with the uncovered and she agreed. I must have looked bright green and gullible to all the seasoned veterans there. I was ripe for being conned, and I think I was. So I initially asked about the song count and she said 20 per song. I asked to clarify and based on that I assumed she meant 100 flat regardless, and more if I exceeded five songs. Wrong was I ever. The songs (assuming you can call them that, were indistinguishable from one another. I didn't last five minutes. I asked if I could cim, and she agreed. Ha! Before I even started Cummings, her gloved hand had removed little man from her mouth and was trying to finish me Mano style. Boring. Then she complained about the mess. Horrible. Then she said I owed her 140. I tried to mildly defend our initial agreement based on her quote and she got upset, claiming the twenty per song was in addition to the hundred. I relented and apologized for the misunderstanding and gave her the extra forty for her lousy service to avoid trouble. I don't think I even made it through one song, by the way. She wore glasses and said she only worked Friday and Saturday nights, and hailed from Brighton. She also claimed that the guys took a hefty chunk from her VIP profit as standard practice (I think she said they would take forty. I felt sorry for the little con woman). Appeals to pity work on me, I guess. So total damage: 5 cover, 6. 75 for a beer I did not touch, ten to get into VIP area, 140 for horrible, reluctant BBBJ with gloved, disgusted, pursed-lipped, lemon-faced, HJ finish. Please school my sorry rookie behind so I never repeat this type of unsatisfying travesty again.

Posts: 78LOL! That happened to me, too, a few years back at Players where I was a regular. I wondered why management processed the cash advance on my credit card so hurriedly and unilaterally waived the customary 20% processing fee without any request by me. Only after I got home and took my shirt off and saw the very visible blood stains did I realize why the club didn't want to hold me up any longer than necessary. Needless to say, the look on my dry cleaner's face the next morning was priceless when I dropped the shirt off for dry cleaning.

Not true. They are on the Detroit side of Ford Road and thus within DPD jurisdiction. Their website even lists their street address as Detroit.

Posts: 11+1 on this reply- nothing says strip club like spray tan on your white shirt and / or glitter on your face. I ask if there is spray tan before a dance. Had to toss a shirt out one time. So much spray tan on her it looked like I had slid head first into home plate!

There are different opinions but a common factor seems to the the privacy curtains in the VIP, take them down like Toy Chest DPD shows up less frequent. Legends and Coli had visits also.

Posts: 122She might have been. Can you describe her? There were a couple of MILFy women there and a black woman. Maybe one them is Deanna.

Posts: 643Rookie mistake! Never wear white to a Stripclub. Between makeup and self tanner, you're asking for trouble.

Whether you choose to change into them before entering the club, or after leaving is up to you.

Went to Henery's north yesterday around 3 PM. After a few minutes Cashmere came over and eventually we went to the VIP closet, I left happy until I was driving away and noticed the front of my white shirt was covered in makeup. I stopped at a fast food place and cleaned it up THen drove back to work with a wet shirt on.

Earlier today I stopped in to the Power Strip off Dix, this is the old Chix on Dix, new name is the Power Strip, it was shortly called Industrial Strip but recently the show Bar Rescue filmed there and changed some things, my opinion for the worse. About a year ago when the place first reopened after a 2-3 year shut down it actually really liked it. If you know it from before you already know it is off the path in the industrial, Rouge Plant area off of Dix. It was considered a rock and roll strip club, I am in my mid 40's and I liked it. First it was a bit brighter, had guitars hanging on the wall and played mostly 80's hair rock to 90's grunge stuff, pretty cool, was in on a few Saturday nights, $4 valet, but whatever Saturday night, it was gaining some PR but still not over whelming, always had 8-10 6's to 8's working, VIP I thought was awesome. As I said a little lighter so you could see the dancer, make solid eye contact, had nice half benches and drapes to the floor, thought it was going to be a nice little secret gem.
Forward to today, at lunch time I was the only person in, and 2 dancers. One her name is Abby, mid 40's classy as hell MILF, I have known her for a while, and just stopping in to check it out was my only MO. Abby is as I said Classy, but no extras to have at all with her, dances are good, but didn't partake because she said the VIP now has 2 real small stages in there, not sure if private or not, there is another small VIP at the other end of the bar but looks super small, maybe only one room, this was a show change I guess, dunno. Also all the guitars are not down, no afternoon DJ just random are and be playing way too loud, well for are and be, just not my genre. Bar staff then and now are still real cool, friendly, not pushy with drinks, or shots, again might be different on a weekend night. As soon as you walk in there is an open shower to watch girls get in, only one in Detroit from what I was told, but the show closed that off, mgn re opened it I guess, typical bar food, fries, chicken strips, they had steak, surf and turf before, now they have some weird speciality items like some home cooked meat and potatoes thing and a special burger VIP thing for $149. $100 toward VIP time and a $49 burger and maybe fries, I don't know, seemed weird from the show again. Like I said, place was dead, but since I liked what it had to offer on weekends from a year or so ago, I won't slam it until I take it in on a couple Saturday nights. The airing is supposed to take place in Nov. Sometime, can't remember if that is a trutv show, I have seen it a few times before, and I will be looking for it. One pole used to be a spinning pole but now both poles aren't don't know if that will make stage shows a little less interesting to watch. This is not slamming this place, I actually liked it from years ago even when old corn row Amy worked there, it was always laid back just because of location, and man last year when it opened as a cool rock and roll strip club, I really thought they were on to something, I unfortunately didn't get to go as much as I wanted, but I do know extras were on the menu then. I could have got CFS one night on a Sat, for a bill, but the chick, Val or something like that, a little gothy, skinny, tatted up pretty good was just getting over the flu, or maybe something else, but then the VIP had plenty of room to have some serious fun, after the remodel IDK. I will hit this place up on a Sat night soon, happy hour until 10 pm on Sat, I think that is what I read.
Anyway, don't know if this post really helps, no specific dancer / extra "fun" to report, but would also love to hear feedback if other fellers have taken in the "new" Power Strip on Dix.
