After looking at it for awhile If I just used it for this area I would "not" renew because most of the same info or more is found here on this board and like JJ said the other day some of the reviews on there are questionable. Like on any board I've read comments that looked like they came from a competitor or from the owner trumping up business or just strange WTF comments. It's a good tool for address and phone numbers but membership is not required for that. For guys that just want another view other than what is said here it's ok for that as well because there are some that probably post there and not on this board.

But if you hit the road and RDU Airport as much as I do it's a pretty good tool which is what I mainly use it for to get a quick snapshot of info without having to read a lot of board info for a certaing city I may be in.

My 2 cents.

I agree, I canceled my subscription awhile ago. If you know the area, you know which ones are the good ones. If on the road, I typically will just order "room service" since I don't want to end up in a not so safe area at an odd time of night.

Most of my profile visitors are premium members who have never posted a single review. The other people only do a one month membership so they can: read on the AMPs in thier area, post one review and vanish because they never pay for a premium membership again.

Most girls don't like reviews anyway and if you make a mistake in your review then it's posted forever. RubMaps will not remove it even if you post a revised review. I have been giving it some thought on canceling my membership since the posts about mentioning or not mentioning names on this forum. Any thoughts?
