I understand what you are "not saying" PW. I have been a Sr. Member here back when it actually meant something to be one. If I reported every encounter over the years I would have 3 to 4 times as many as I do. But I do have those numbers in PM's.

With members who do know me, they know who they are. In fact a lot of us I am sure spend more time sharing in PMs than publicly. We have all shared with out the need to get something back, with out the "requirement" that I will help you if you have something for me right now!

This board should not operate like that, it was not designed that way, not with selfish "pimps". Yes, those who always expect something in return for their info. Are pimping out that phone number, email etc. To you I say FU!

I not only agree with TH's sentiments wholeheartedly but can attest to his giving out info without anything in return. I have been out of action for awhile and when I decided to get back in I was lost and gents like TH to name only one came up big with places for me to try. I've seen that the replies have begun so I will refrain from doing it but THIS is exactly what this board has become. I will do if you do but I won't if you don't. Bs. So if you want to be careful and I wouldn't blame you instead of blatantly saying you will give up the lead only for one back then why don't you say you will give it via pm and then ask if the person you are giving it to has any leads for you. Just thought I'd share to save someone some time. Went to Belmont last week (Wednesday), and there was a sign in the door stating that they would be closed for two weeks (cleaning). I had called the week before and someone had answered, so I'm guessing they'll be close this week as well.

I agree and have been having similar problems lately.

I have PM'd several members here and many have been generous with more info regarding reviews they've posted and I thank them for that. Then there are some that I've PM'd asking for more info and I receive no reply. However those same non-replying members will later PM me asking for info about a review I've posted.

I have never made it mandatory that anyone here must give something in trade to receive info from me. I will sometimes ask if they have anything AFTER I have given them info but I generally decide by the quality not the quantity of their posts if I will give them info. It's why I sometimes say "Contributers can PM for more info. " Lately a few members here, after visiting a place I recommended in a post or PM have PM'd me a few days later and complained to me about the place! WTF? I didn't charge you for the info. I didn't demand (nor did I receive) any info in trade. I freely gave you my opinion of the place. You didn't like it? Okay fine, don't go there again. One guy had the balls to say that I should have better referals for him. Really? Better referals for you? I am not your personal concierge to the hobby world.

FYI, I know the owner, and the spa was closed the last few days because she was taking a few days off and having a couple of things in the spa fixed. Anyway, just so those who do frequent there know the down time wasn't a licensing or regulation issue and the spa will open again on Tuesday.

The way towns are starting to crack down on bodywork spa's it's just a matter of time before most / all Mass towns follow RI. Not looking forward to towns like Waltham, Quincy, and Framingham to following suit. We'll see.

I first noticed Sat Aug 8th it was closed, and you're saying it will reopen Tues Aug 18th. That is 11 days. Seems too long for renovations or repairs as you say. And coincidentally from 8/10- 8/13 or 14, licenses were checked in Waltham, and yet you believe they still will reopen? That one didn't cause the other? I don't buy it. Plus the ladies were sleeping and cooking there and may well have been slaves. There is no back door, and nobody ever came out the front door once the open sign went out. Yes I saw firsthand. Lets see if its new people who return Tuesday.

I don't plan on ever going there, this operation seems very shady. It really ought not ever reopen, but we will see. Maybe your right, and by the way, I know several owners myself around Waltham and the area, too, and it ain't a big deal. My best guess is the Biaggio restaurant complained and didn't want a brothel next to its nice restaurant, but who knows? If I were the owner of Biaggio, I'd dime on them.
