In conclusion:

If I can weigh in on this a bit, I think it's always best to avoid confrontation when you're operating on the fringes to begin with. No need to escalate things and bring down a lot of crap into your life over what amounts to little more than a hassle and disappointment. That being said, I had an incident where I went out of my way to help out a provider in a difficult situation.
