Two women charged with offering sex for fee after Medford 'bodywork' raids

Medford Police arrested two women Thursday during raids of two spas where undercover detectives were offered sexual services for payment. According to a press release from Medford Police, police conducted a month of surveillance at Asian Body Work, 34 Riverside Ave. , and Min's Body Work, 112 Central Ave. , after receiving complaints about the businesses, specifically that they might be providing sexual services for a fee.

After gathering information about the businesses, police sent undercover officers to both spas at about 11:15 am Thursday, where they paid for a half-hour massage and, while receiving the massage, were offered sexual conduct in return for payment. Police waiting outside then entered the spas and arrested two women: Ping Wang, 53, of Flushing, and. Why. , was arrested at Asian Body Work; Yudan Feng, 37, was arrested at Min's Body Work. Police did not provide a location for Feng's residence.

Both women were charged with sexual conduct for a fee. Under state law, a person who engages in sexual conduct with another person in return for a fee faces imprisonment for no more than one year and / or a fine of no more than $500 regardless of whether the sexual conduct occurred.

The spas' owners were not present at the time of the arrests. According to the press release, both owners were cited administratively by the Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure. Police said they are not currently aware of a connection between the two businesses.

"Medford Police take this type of criminal activity seriously, as it directly affects the quality of life of everyone involved," police said in the release, "and specifically the citizens and businesses directly surrounding these establishments. ".

Also involved in the investigation were agents from USA Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Woburn Police, Malden Police and the state's Division of Professional Licensure.

According to the website of the USA Immigration and Customs Enforcement, HSI special agents investigate cross-border criminal activity, including human smuggling and trafficking and human rights violations.

This spot has been getting solid reviews for a while now, so this review isn't a surprise and is consistent with the rest.

I've been trying to get back there to see Wendy again but everytime I'd call Mamasan would say she was away. Called again and finally she was there. We will never find out what will happen to the two entrepreneurs. The only real human trafficking ring that was busted occurred a lengthy time ago in Quincy. Was that surprising to quincy residents, absolutely not. Whatever happened to the guy in his fifties in Woburn if he got off then mr. Decaf and friends will to. If they don't get convicted, it's just cops trying to move up in the ranks at there home office as well employees of homeland security also looking for ways to get promoted. Yeah Well. I know of a woman who manages an AMP. She was telling me a story of one of her friends getting busted and shut down and if you remember a few months back Attleboro police raided an AMP in their town, arrested the mamasan and were patting themselves on the back for shutting down the massage business and taking her to court with all of these charges and she would go to jail and so on and so on. Well that is the friend of the woman I know. As it turns out the mamasan was told to get out of dodge and if she came back and was caught doing the HE then she would go to jail.
